Chimere Nzeoma is a food safety, regulatory compliance and agribusiness development professional with several years of experience providing strategic advisory and technical consulting services across Nigeria's food and agricultural sectors.
As Executive Director of Nugata Consults Limited, Chimere provides strategic leadership for the firm's consulting, training and technical advisory services. He is involved in the design and implementation of projects that strengthen food safety systems, improve regulatory compliance and enhance the competitiveness of food and agribusiness enterprises. His work focuses on helping businesses, development organisations and government institutions build sustainable systems that meet both national regulations and internationally recognised standards.
He is passionate about strengthening food systems, promoting regulatory excellence and supporting businesses to achieve sustainable growth through internationally recognised food safety and quality standards.
Chimere has extensive experience leading technical assignments in food safety management, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, enterprise diagnostics, capacity building and agricultural value chain development. He has successfully delivered projects funded by organisations including the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), COLEAD, TechnoServe, GIZ through the Nigeria Competitiveness Project (NICOP), and the John Kufuor Foundation.
His expertise spans Food Safety Management Systems (ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000), NAFDAC regulatory compliance, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), HACCP, traceability systems, food business diagnostics, technical training and institutional capacity development. He has developed technical manuals, facilitated high-impact training programmes and provided strategic advisory services to hundreds of food businesses across Nigeria.
He is an FSSC 22000 Internal Auditor, a COLEAD-trained Enterprise Diagnostics professional and a member of Nigeria's National Codex Committee (NCC).
